Data Capture 2016

Data Capture 2016 is our software application that is used to program all Temperature Guard units, collect data from them and send out alert email and sms messages.

Data Capture Frequently Asked Questions

There are two items that are critically important when setting up Data Capture:

  1. That the smtp settings are correct and that valid email addresses are programmed.
  2. That a folder is specified for temperature data files.

Before installing a Temperature Guard on your network
Verify that your network has a DHCP server.  The Temperature Guard must obtain an initial IP address from the server.

Ports 10001 (2711h) and 30718 (77FEh) are not blocked.
